Visit to France by the Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of Hong Kong

The meeting was held under the supervision of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

It was a great opportunity to highlight some of the advantages offered by this strategic hub at the heart of Asia:

• a business-friendly legal environment, stable and based on common law;
• a corporate tax rate capped at 16.5%, with a reduced 5% rate on certain income from qualifying innovative activities, under the patent box regime;
• privileged access to Mainland China;
• increasing financial and logistical support aimed at facilitating the establishment of foreign companies.
