The website mosaik.legal (the "Site") is published by MOSAIK, an association d'avocats à responsabilité professionnelle individuelle (AARPI, a French law firm structure) registered with the Paris Bar, SIRET 912 976 339 00016, whose registered office is at 10, boulevard Raspail, 75007 Paris, France. The firm's lawyers registered with the Paris Bar hold the professional title of avocat, awarded in France, and are subject to the rules of the profession, in particular Law no. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971, Decree no. 91-1197 of 27 November 1991 and the national rules of the legal profession (règlement intérieur national), available at www.cnb.avocat.fr.

In the event of a dispute, a client acting as a consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator for the legal profession (mediateur-consommation-avocat.fr), without prejudice to the procedure for contesting fees before the President of the Paris Bar (bâtonnier).

The controller of personal data is AARPI MOSAIK, 10, boulevard Raspail, 75007 Paris, France, represented by Pascal-André GÉRINIER. Data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.

The Site has no forms, no client area and no audience measurement tool. The firm only collects the data you provide yourself, in particular when you write to or call the firm: your identity, contact details and the content of your request. The host also keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date and time, page viewed), which are necessary for the security of the Site.

These data are processed to respond to your request and, where applicable, to prepare and perform the engagement entrusted to the firm (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with the firm's legal and professional obligations, in particular regarding anti-money laundering (Article 6(1)(c)), and to manage relations with its clients and professional contacts and the security of the Site (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f)).

These data are intended for the firm's lawyers and staff and, solely for the purposes of their services, for its technical service providers (hosting, email). They are neither sold nor rented, and data relating to a matter are covered by legal professional privilege. Where a matter so requires, in particular with the Hong Kong and Mexico City offices, they may be transferred outside the European Union, with the safeguards provided for in Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.

Data are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request. Data relating to a contact that has not led to an engagement are deleted no later than three years after the last exchange. Client data are kept for the duration of the engagement and then for five years from its end (Article 2225 of the French Civil Code and Article L. 561-12 of the French Monetary and Financial Code). The host's technical logs are kept for no more than one year.

The Site does not place any audience measurement or advertising cookies. Only technical cookies strictly necessary for its operation may be used; they do not require your consent. The links to LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram are simple links: no content from these networks is loaded unless you follow them.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, the right to object to their processing and the right to give instructions regarding their fate after your death. These rights may be exercised by email to contact@mosaik.legal or by letter to MOSAIK, 10, boulevard Raspail, 75007 Paris, France. Proof of identity may be requested in case of reasonable doubt. Legal professional privilege may limit the exercise of certain rights over data relating to a matter.

If, after contacting the firm, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3, place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, www.cnil.fr.
