William Mak and Pascal-André Gérinier were pleased to be invited by the law firm Sit, Fung, Kwong & Shum to the Christmas party of the Law Society of Hong Kong, the professional body of Hong Kong solicitors.
The evening provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges ahead in 2025 for Chinese and Hong Kong entrepreneurs wishing to export to France, in particular the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and, more generally, the regulations targeting Chinese exports to France and Mexico.
Discussions also covered the many investment opportunities in France and the various financial and administrative support mechanisms designed to encourage such investments.
