Since 2017, Maître Hugo Solard has been assisting French and international companies in employment law, social security law and social protection law, both as counsel and in litigation. Trained in renowned Parisian law firms, he has developed expertise in assisting managers and HR departments, particularly in the industrial, digital and e-sport sectors.
Bio
Maitre Solard holds a bachelor's degree in Anglo-American law, and a master's degree in labor law from Paris 1 and Paris 13.
After being sworn in in 2017, Maître Solard practiced with EY Société d'Avocats in La Défense, then with Advant Altana in Paris, before joining Berté et Associés in 2020.
Hugo Solard helps companies to manage their human resources on a day-to-day basis, dealing with key issues (working hours, moral/sexual harassment, inexcusable misconduct, health/safety, discrimination, etc.) and complex negotiations. Maitre Solard has developed a particular interest in expert appraisals carried out by the CSE. A number of disputes in this field have now set precedents.
It is also developing specific expertise in redundancies, particularly those based on technological change, which are set to increase in number in a context of digital transformation and automation of organizations.
Maitre Solard is involved in all areas of employment law, including audits, expert appraisals and industrial accidents.
Teaching
Since 2024, Maître Solard has been a lecturer in the Master 2 Droit et Pratique des Relations de Travail (DPRT) program at the University of Montpellier, on the subject of CSE expertise.
