The Regional Economic Department in Mexico City (French Treasury) has just published the fourth edition of its France-Mexico economic report, which focuses on the presence of French companies in the country.

Its key findings:

  • nearly 700 French companies operate in Mexico;
  • they generate 215,000 direct jobs and more than 750,000 indirect jobs;
  • they are active in strategic sectors, including aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals, energy, agri-food, manufacturing and technology.

The relationship between the two countries therefore goes well beyond trade figures: it reflects real opportunities for investment, expansion and long-term collaboration.

For French businesses considering Mexico, understanding the local legal and regulatory landscape is essential to getting it right from day one.

MOSAIK supports foreign companies navigating the Mexican market, combining local expertise with a cross-border perspective. Considering Mexico for your next business move? Let’s talk.

The report, in Spanish, is available on the French Treasury website under the title “Las empresas francesas en México, 200 años de historia compartida”.
