We were delighted to participate in Business of IP Forum Asia (BIP Asia) in Hong Kong with Pascal-André Gérinier and William Mak to discuss the latest legislative developments and trends in the field of intellectual property in Asia! It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas on practices and latest incentive mechanisms in Asia and around the world with various colleagues. For instance, did you know that Hong Kong has introduced the so-called "Patent Box" regime? This scheme offers a reduced tax rate of 5% on certain types of income related to intellectual property in the fields of innovation and digital technology (in comparison, the tax rate in France is 10% at best).
