Roundtable on the Hong Kong start-up ecosystem

A great discussion at Le Scribe in Paris with various funds and institutional stakeholders on the dynamism and latest trends of the Hong Kong entrepreneurial ecosystem. The roundtable was organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

Hong Kong provides a highly favourable environment for the growth of young companies:

• easy access to investors, thanks to the presence of numerous banks and international funds;
• an attractive tax regime, with incentives dedicated to innovation such as the patent box;
• strong public support, with over 21 billion euros invested in recent years to foster innovation and technology;
• a privileged gateway to the Chinese market, notably through the Northern Metropolis project.

Hong Kong thus positions itself as a key hub for innovative activities and research and development in the region.
